From 4 to 14 September 2025, the Art x Science Office celebrated the power of community at Switzerland’s largest design festival, the Zurich Design Weeks. We were hosted at schwarzescafé, Luma Westbau in the Löwenbräukunst-Areal.
This year, we presented our collaborative knitwear collection Art x Science knitwear by University of Zurich, created through transdisciplinary dialogues between artists, designers, and researchers. Each piece is a creative response to current research projects at the University of Zurich, offering new perspectives on complex scientific questions.
Art x Science knitwear was designed by:
- Leonie Böhm (Theatre) × Prof. Sebastian Jessberger (Neuroscience)
- Andrea Mettler (Graphic Design) × Prof. Laura Baudis (Astrophysics)
- Mirabella-Morganti (Design) × Prof. Greta Patzke + Walker Marks (Chemistry)
- AG-stoen (Costume Design) × Prof. Monika Dommann (History)
- ALP Atelier Landolt-Pfister (Design) × Prof. Annelies Zinkernagel (Infectiology)
