Risks and Rewards of the Anytime-Anywhere Internet

Sarah Genner, Mercator Award winner 2016

The mobile internet affects all of us - daily and almost around the clock. Even when we're not actively using a mobile device, our smart companions are constantly connected to the internet. Media psychologist Sarah Genner wrote her dissertation on the risks and side effects of the mobile internet. In the interview, Genner discusses who the winners and losers of the mobile internet are and shares her thoughts on media education in schools.
