Life Shortening Measures

In her doctoral thesis, lawyer Aline Lüthi proposes a legal framework for life-shortening measures in the medical context. In doing so, she addresses a sensitive legal gap in criminal law and provides legal clarity for treating physicians, healthcare personnel, and relatives of patients at the end of life.

Aline Lüthi completed her dissertation within the interdisciplinary doctoral program "Biomedical Ethics and Law" at the University of Zurich.
